Moscow, Berlin, Paris, London and ....Sun Valley.
Zach and I took a quick trip to San Francisco (not literally) when we were lucky enough to watch THE
San Francisco Ballet perform for the first time at the Sun Valley Pavilion. Amazing is an understatement for the absolute perfection in movement we witnessed. It is evident that these dancers spend their lives crafting their skill and bodies in ballet.

The final bow from the performers. |
Thanks to a client of mine we were lucky enough to have front row seats to the performance. Zach admittedly was a little shocked to see grown men that close in tights...that-tight... But he persevered and managed to leave that evening with a new appreciation (or at least experience) for a different kind of dedication and commitment to passion and art, through ballet. Or... he was trying to picture if any of those guys could ski or mountain bike.
I went home closed my eyes, pointed my toes, and pretended I could do a pirouette again. Like when I was six in ballet classes and anything was possible. Unfortunately, the dancers made it look a lot easier then I remember it being. I still had fun trying though.
