Idaho or Bust

We have had a number of snow storms that have literally buried our town and home in the last month. It seems I haven't had a chance to post because I have been shoveling somewhere at all times. It is a lot of work but it is a lot of fun! Believe it or not but the pictures are taken after we have had a week of sun and a lot of it has melted. You can barely make out Zach's truck to the left of the first photo in the driveway. If you've ever wondered why most people don't have mailboxes at their homes in a snow town it's because they have to shovel it out constantly! Ours was buried until it took a team of us to dig it out. We still don't have the proper mail access of 30' but we figure it's close enough for now. The dogs love all this snow because if we don't shovel around the fence perimeter they have an easy escape into the neighborhood. And after we do shovel they use the new snow piles as a lookout perch to keep watch on passersby.

We are slowly getting out our save-the-date announcments. We took the pictures out Indian Creek where Zach's parents live. Our photographer Dev Khalsa is wonderful and we can't wait to have her document our big day. Oh and there was a lot of guesses on whether or not the sign is photoshop-ed into the pictures...indeed I am that obsessed with details that I made the sign for us to hold. We figured it was a good way to get the word out there.

Avery Arrival!

My newest niece is here and what better day to be born than on Valentines day! Avery Mae LaDuke was born around 4am to proud parents Addie, Cameron, and sister Callie. 8lbs 2 ounces the kid was ready to start her life and came a bit earlier than expected. Addie and family are home now in Tucson and getting adjusted to new life with another little one. Grandma, Gigi, is there for support, diaper changes, and distractions for older sister, Callie. Everyone seems to be doing well and they are just enjoying the new family member!
