La ho'omana'o

I had a hard time pronouncing the title of this blog as well.
Try "La, HO-Om-ana-O".
Still struggling?
Let me explain in a different way.
It's the Hawaiian word for anniversary and in this case a 40th anniversary celebration for Zach's parents, Nick & Jean.
40 years!

And for some amazing reason they want to share their anniversary with family in Maui.

I'm guessing the secret to a long and happy marriage has something to do with family being together.
Congratulations Nick & Jean!
It takes two wonderful people to make a marriage work for 40 years.

See you when we get back, aloha!

High Five Lucy

Our puppy is 5 today!
When did our furry little monster get so big?

This last year her role from primary princess was compromised when the primary prince arrived.  She has taken to her new role with some trepidation but she can't deny the perks of being the on demand vacuum.
Happy Birthday Lucy!
May you one day be thrown a meaty bone from Dax's dinner tray
like Dino and Bam-Bam in the Flinstones:)

Happy Bird Day Z!

Like fine wine, you just get better with age.

Love you!

Chef Boyar-Zee

I was spoiled by my husband this weekend who cooked dinner for me two nights in a row!  I have to say, now that I know he can cook I'm expecting him to do a lot more of it ;)

A delicious pan seared cod with grilled vegetables was excellent!

Wagon Train

If you saw three moms, five kids, and three chariots on the trails out Quigley this past weekend we are glad we didn't run you over.  Our wagon train was rolling!  I didn't dare complain about being winded when the other mommies were each towing TWINS that are a year older then Dax.  All of a sudden my cargo didn't seem so heavy.
Megan on the left and Caroline on the right.

Trying to keep up with the advanced mommies!

Lucy, Axle, Caroline, Finn, Briggs, Megan and Dax
Luckily, all our passengers slept through our hour ski so the mommies had lots of time to catch up.
