Sun Valley 1/2 Marathon

It was a nice day for a 13.2 mile run over and around Sun Valley this past Sunday for the Sun Valley 1/2 Marathon. It took me 1hr 44min. Wow, are my calves sore today! But I'm happy I did it and completed it with my friend and new mother Davina! Way to bounce back in the game after little Owen was born Davin!

Lucy

We are so excited to welcome the newest member to our little home. Lucy was adopted into our family yesterday from a farm in Fyler, Idaho. She is very loving, playful, and overall a happy little puppy. She slept well last night and is being overwhelmed with love today from friends and family. We can't wait to get to know her better!

Mothers Day in Los Altos

I had a wonderful visit with my in Los Altos (south of SF) over mothers day weekend. I was lucky to get to spend time with my sister, Erin, my aunt & uncle, and cousin whose wife just had a baby boy. Bradley David Lyle will be leaving the hospital today with happy parents Brock & Laura Lyle. Congratulations!

So nice to visit Cali again and eat some of my grandmothers home grown oranges!

Tree Cutting at MoLo

Well, it wasn't easy and I'm really soar today from all the digging but we did it. We had to cut down a 35ft tree in our front yard this past weekend because it was encroaching on our house. We tried to have it moved (spayed) but it was too big and would have killed our other gorgeous tree in our front yard. So, Zach, Nick, Kat, and I managed to cut it down without hitting our house (phew!), then we proceeded to cut it up for firewood, cut down the stump as much as possible, and start cutting out for our new U-turn driveway. We also look forward to building a burm and planting new trees in our front yard! It's still a muddy mess from the rain that hit us on Sunday but we are all happy with the progress!

Salmon River Trip 2006

The Lathams took me on quite an adventure for 10 days on the Main Salmon River. Along with the Zieglers, and Nickums, the three families floated down on 5 rafts and 3 kayaks; finding rattlesnakes, sandy beaches, pioneer cabins, hot summer days, and more. Can't wait until next year!
